Veneers/Laminates

Dental veneers, or porcelain laminates, are laboratory-manufactured and colour-matched thin shells of porcelain that are cemented over the visible surface of existing teeth. Veneers are used to repair large defects such as very discolored, worn, chipped or cracked teeth. In some cases, they may also be used to repair misaligned teeth or as an alternative to orthodontics to close large spaces between teeth and give your smile a more even appearance without the use of braces.

Before we begin the process of making porcelain veneers for you we will first examine the current condition of your teeth, including x-rays and possibly photographs. To make a veneer an impression is taken and sent to a lab technician where the porcelain veneer is custom formed and coloured for the perfect match to your smile.
